Flyer for tour Nov/Dec 1990
On the 7th Dec 1990 we played the legendary Locomotive Club in Paris – a certain Seymour Stein turned up determined to sign the group to his Sire label – home of Talking Heads, The Ramones, Echo and the Bunnyment, The Smiths, The Cure – the list goes on – everyone wanted to sign the group after hearing ‘All Together Now’ – we decided the best course of action was to ignore everyone and release Spartacus as a true independent in the UK at least. It would be a few months before Seymour signed the band for America only.
